The Traditional Parquet is made entirely of solid wood, without supporting layers, it is sold and laied down when still raw. It will be finished once installed, that is sanded and varnished after the installation, before you can walk on it.
Solid Wood Parquet is made of strips of pure noble wood, in various formats and in many wood species that, thanks to their range of colours, varnishing, grains and shades, typical of wood, can satisfy all the economics, aestetical, personal and functional requirements.
Solid Wood Parquet is suitable for the flooring of any type of indoor environment subject to high and suitable foot traffic, such as homes, shops, studios, gyms, hotels, premises for the public, representative rooms, restaurants, theaters and offices.
The logs, with 10 to 22 mm of thickness, have different formats and dimensions: Lamparquet, Listony and Industrial Parquet.

Solid Wood Parquet can be glued or nailed (for big planks).
Solid Wood Parquet must be laid on consistent, stable, dry and well-leveled substrates with two-component or one-component polyurethane adhesives, suitable for the type of wood species and its format.
After installation, Solid Wood Parquet must undergo special treatments such as sanding, grouting, painting and finishing.
Before stepping on the Solid Wood Parquet, it will therefore be necessary to wait about 15-20 days, to avoid damaging the perfect settling of the wood.

Solid Wood Parquet maintenance imposes both ordinary and extraordinary care.
For the ordinary care it is advisable to remove the dust with a vacuum cleaner or antistatic cloth and wash the floor with products suitable for the different finishes (wax, oil, paint). For a quick cleaning use a damp very wrung out soft rag.
For extraordinary care, suggested every 10-20 years, you must turn to specialized staff, that will sand the floor to remove scratches or scores, or just to revive colour, shininess and look.
